Geoff it's pretty hard to say over there. I think when I replaced the one on my truck is was somewhere between $200 and $300. I'm curious is the spelling of your name pretty common over there? I've met a few others over here in the states but am told it's an old english spelling which makes me wonder if it's more common over there. |

$288.99US here from a Ford dealer, so what's that . . . ten pounds? ![]() ![]() To test you don’t need to take anything apart, just shut off the motor and see if it takes the same force to turn both ways. If it is as hard both ways without the motor running you need a gear box and I would give it 99% odds you do. |
