Question Help really loud noise

well went out to my inlaws today, no issues on the way out. i got ready to leave and felt a little vibration, but i thought nothing of it. got about 2 miles outta town( headed to town) and stopped at a stop sign i heard a really loud noise like something broke. limpt it to my parents house, if i got it above 1000 rpms the noise went awaybut some noise was still there. Any ideas i really need my truck running right.
