truck cuts off randomly

ok so i did the 3.9k resistor mod a few weeks ago and i took it out yesterday. When i crunk it up after removing the resistor my truck sounded like it had a cam in it for about 30 seconds then it would shut down. after this i put the 10 ohm resistor in it and now it idles and runs fine but it shuts down every few minutes can some one please help

i put the resistor back in and now its running and idleing perfect again. idk wat it is
