HELP!!! my truck is whining
i have a strange whining noise almosty like belt slip but it's off and on evenly at 2200 rpm and only when in gear. please help don't want my truck to die

Is your truck a manual. Reason I ask is there is a manual PSD at the wind farm that makes a sound much like that and its coming from the trans.

nope auto. i don't think it's coming from the tranny because i can't hear the noise through the floor boards with the windows up. but i could be wrong
