Brass cups in cylinder heads....
I had a 7.3 out of an 01 F-450 and rebuilt it due to diesel getting mixed in with the antifreeze. Obviously one of the cups was bad in the heads so i had machine shop install new cups. Put engine back together. Now im getting compression back through the cooling system... obviously its bleeding by the cups... My question is... Is there a tool for intalling the cups properly or do u just press them in. I know on certain CAT diesels u have to cut them in place.
If anyone has any info on that it'd help me thanks |
