gas tank
A friend of mine has a 2001 F450 bucket truck that died last week, he had it towed to a shop and they found the fuel filter was clogged with pieces of the liner in the gas tank. It was the 3rd one they fixed. They told him it is from the new ulsd fuel. anyone else heard of this. SORRY I MENT FUEL TANK. He said gas tank.

I had that problem in my 2000 f250 (twice). I am fixing to go with an inline fuel filter. I didnt know it was from the liner in the tank I just thought it was from the diesel. I need to figure out how to post a picbut it was Sorta like a crusty tar mix. Carb cleaner worked magic on it.

i have heard that the ULSD is big on cleaning up the fuel system, but not causing chunks to come out.
