Question Heater Blower Motor not working all the time

My Heater Blower Motor works some of the time. I checked the fuses (knowing that if one was blown it wouldn't work at all) and all looked good there. Is there a relay that would cause this and if so where would I buy one? Thanks for help.

find the fuse for it and slightly bend the spades of the fuse away from each other, it may just be making poor contact. if it continues, check and see if when its acting up, if the High function always works even when the low speeds are inop.......this would indicate a blower motor resistor. you could also pull the blower out and make sure there is no water intrusion causing the motor to short........Marc

When it does work it seems to only work at one speed no matter what you have the switch on.

It seems to be the low speed when it is blowing.

try hitting the switch and see if that makes it act up or not......this sounds like a switch to me, but it could still be the motor or a poor ground........Marc

1999 F-250 blower motor

my blower would work sometimes and other times it would stop. Now it never works. I checked the fuse and buffed the prongs with a brass brush to insure good contact. I replaced the relay. Still doesn't work. Think I may have to change blower motor. Did you replace yours yourself? Was it easy to get to? Was it easy to change?

How can I determine if the blower is bad without tearing the truck apart to get to it?
