Hi,
I need help with codes. I have had tons of problems w/this truck's electrical. I have a new fuse/GEM panel, its just not installed yet. All (most) of the codes below were caught by doing the "test on board systems" I have no MIL/SES light, which leads me to believe something more is going on with the fuse panel then just my one touch relay having no power to it. I'm having issues with the truck acting like it's starving for fuel, ESPECIALLY under load. I haven't done a fuel pressure test yet. The truck has 182k on it, & 2 weeks ago, it was running perfect. Di a oil change about 1000 miles ago, tranny was serviced 2 weeks ago, I originally thought it was a suspension/tranny problem, I had my rotors turned, & things somewhat improved, but now, I think theres a whole lot more going on. It almost seemed like I could feel a vibration under my feet, but no one in the vehicle could feel it. Then as the problem got worse, others could feel it, barely, at least until it got bad, then I wasn't so "crazy". I have also felt like it was a throttle problem, as it is slow to respond. I did KOEO, KOER, Cylinder contribution test, & injector buzz test P0476 Exhaust Pressure Control Valve Range/Performance P0565 Cruise Control ON Signal Error P0566 Cruise Control RESUME Signal Error P0567 Cruise Control RESUME Signal Error P0568 Cruise Control SET Signal Error P0569 Cruise Control COAST Signal Error P0284 Cylinder 8 Contribution/Balance Fault P0220 Throttle Position Sensor/Switch B Circuit Error P0571 Cruise Control/Brake Switch A Circuit Fail P0703 Brake Switch B Circuit Error P1536 Parking Brake Applied Failure P1780 TCS Circuit Out of self Test Range[/b] these are codes that come up every time I search for DTC's B1203 Fuel Sender Circuit Short to Battery-Msg Ctr B1352 Ignition Key-in Circuit Failure - Instr Clstr B1871 Pass Air Bag Deactivate Fault - RCM--(per AE) disable module fault I think I turned it off B1884 PAD Warning Lamp Inoperative---or AE: " " circuit failure P0500 Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) Error -- per AE (sensor A) previous codes, __________________________________________________ _ C1200 ABS inlet valve coil LF circuit short to battery C1223 lamp brake warning output circuit failure (I 'thought' it was cargo bulb) B1450 Wiper Wash/delay switch circuit failure B1428 Lamp seat belt circuit failure __________________________________________________ ____ manifold absolute pressure 12.7 PSI injector control pressure Volts .19 exhaust back pressure-volts .73 V Vehicle power voltage 12.3 V desired engine RPM--0.00 fuel pulse width #1---0.00 fuel injector pulse width---0.00 ms volume fuel desired 9.7mm3 at idle after clearing codes the continuous codes are: GEM/Central timer--- , B1352 Airbag---B1871, B1884 Overhead trip computer----P0500 AND with KOER---P0476 I have no vehicle, as I will not drive it like this. ANY CLUES???? thanks, Laurie ![]() could the wastegate, (that has been sticking off & on) be the cause of this?????? Last edited by korg70kbc : 07-01-2009 at 07:20 PM. Reason: thought of something |
