Double Din CD Player
Who all is running a double din in a 99-03 truck? I know our trucks aren't a true double din but I know some of you have trimmed to install one. Could you guys post pics please. Thanks I like the look of a double din over a single din with the dash kit, a double just looks more factory to me. Thanks

I have a JVC double din 7" touch screen dvd player in mine. Was $600 with the install / wiring kit. Also the face comes off for anti-theft. It was a tight fit and could not fit the metal mounting bracket that came with it into the dash. I bought a install kit that is made to fit a double din in our trucks. Only could use the front trim plate and the side mounting plate which all was really need for my radio. Only cutting was taking the lip off of the top and bottom of the radio opening. Also had to cut off a bracket that a single screw went through it that attached the whole trim piece to the main dash. Trim piece still fits perfect and attached fine.
pics are not the best. but its 4:30am here and I just took them. Final trim piece is not on yet. I'm going to take it back out so i can hook up bluetooth and xbox.![]() ![]() ![]()
