I am looking to match the pillar post color of my 99 F 350. I believe the factory color is medium Prairie tan. The local ford garage doesn't have it and Car quest doesn't carry interior spray paint anymore. Someone suggested that Krylon spray paint in Khaki is a real close match. I should have ordered the matching paint when I ordered the gauges and 3 gauge pillar post. Anyone have any suggestions

i always got mine at o'realeys or autozone if not go to a paint store and have them mix it and put it in a spray can for you if you really want it to be an exact match

Raul at Stealth has it.

You could even get it from a dealership, may be a little more pricy though

Best matches are from Sem classic coat they are all factory matches and avail at most car paint stores or they can get it for around $12 a can

colored match paint
Thanks for all the help. I ordered the paint from diesel Manor, same place I bought the gauges.Too bad I didn't think to order the paint at the same time. Cost another $11 bucks to ship a 12 oz can of spray paint. plus another week to get it.

I bought mine from Diesel Manor. It was $30 by the time it was shipped for 1 can. Don't get your hopes too high. Mine didn't match at all. I called once or twice, and never got an answer. I left a message that was never returned. I decided it wasn't worth the hassle anymore. The point is the paint doesn't match my interior at all. It got better after a few weeks, but don't expect a perfect match.
