Keyless entry mystery?

I bought the truck 3 months ago and I didn't know if it had keyless entry or not. So I did the cycle test and my doors unlocked and locked on the 5th time. So I got a keyfob and it did not program. I called the dealership to run a VIN decode and they said it was an option but didn't come with it. So my question is, why did my locks cycle, and is there somewhere in the cab I can check to see if maybe it was installed later on. Or if there is a fuse. I checked number 26 under the hood for the keyless and there is a 20A which it calls for. I am so confessed. Thanks for any help

It should take 8 times key on key off before the doors lock and unlock make sure the battery is good in the fob and try it again do it 8 times leaving the key on the 8th time and do not turn it completly back to off when you are doin the cycles if that doesnt work or the doors dont lock and unlock your truck doesnt have it

I know I did that and it will cycle on the 8th time also, I put new battery's in the fob, and it still wont program, I don't know why they would cycle if I didn't have keyless but oh well I have tried everything and cant figure it out. I had a friend try it that has keyless on his 99 but just wont work for me.
