heated seat problem

I am having a problem with my drivers side heated seat in my 03 f250 crew cab. The light comes on but there is no heat, the passenger side works just fine. Is there any way to test the module that is under the seat, before i replace it. I know i seen somewhere how you can test the wiring in the seat to see if it is burned up, but i am unable to find the page that explains that. Anyone have any ideas. Thanks in advance
