im interested in how you dyed your door panels...

that link you posted..
the spray plastic paint stuff.. that said it was not a dye..
is that what you used??

also What process did you use to do this?

the usual
sand it
adheasion promoter
paint/dye
clear coat
buff???

or some other way.. they look great.. i would like to do mine.
and can you do the whole dash with the same process?

Looks really good man. Quick question, will an 05+ cluster fit into the 99-04 dash? If so would everything work right? I tried searching, but nothing answered my "?"

I just stumbled across this, looks like its coming together great. I too am interested in the paint/dye process. I would love to paint some interior pieces to clean up my interior look.

I don't know about you guys, but I think it would be awesome/funny to do the dash conversion etc. except go retro with the color. I'm thinking either the red of the OBS' or the blue of the early Super Duty. The black looks phenomenal, but honestly, how many red or blue interiors have you seen? They stick out!

i guess im not a fan of retro.. ive seen black trucks with the red/marooon interior.. not a big fan... i like the black interior
