99 SuperCab rear seat

I have a 99 supercab with the seats that fold flat, and has the pad across the back below the back window. My question is, can you put a newer supercab rear seat without a lot of trouble. It's uncomfortable, and the back pad has holes in it from my kids car seats.

Bump.

I too would like to know the answer to this question. I have an opportunity to purchase the rear seat from a 2000 for $125.00 but the guy lives a couple hours away. Would it be a direct bolt-in replacement?

Any advice is appreciated.

IIRC it bolts right in just make sure you get the mounting brackets for it. This is on my list of things to do as well as 01+ front seats.

Has anyone made the switch? My 99 has the same set in the back, they are uncomfortable as hell.

I'm still debating because there is a third(middle) bracket on the 2000-up back seats because of the 60/40 split. This means I would have to drill at least one, if not two, holes in the cab floor to properly bolt down the seat. I'm not sure I want to mess around with this.....
