Ready For CHANGE!!!

ready to change my interior color that is! Was wondering if anyone has ever attempted this using interior dye? I have a buddy that has done it in an old fox body mustang but just curious to see if anyone else has done it. Im going to get a black rubber floor mat to replace my carpet cause my carpet sucks and going to get my seats sewn with camo. The headliner is already gray but the int is blue and Im tired of it.

i was going to do the same thing to mine. was gonna dye the whole thing black but then i got to thinking how much a PITA its going to be to do lil things like the vents and having to pull the whole dash out

yea...it really wasnt hard to do at all since we had to put a new dash in anyways..i'll look through my photobucket and post a few pics

well the good thing about it i reckon is the fact that a lot of stuff that would be black is already black. The whole PITA thing might change my mind but I have always wanted a gun metal grey 7.3 and I cant afford a new truck. Have been wanting to get it repainted anyway so I was gonna go grey. However blue on grey wouldnt look to great lol

see my thing is all my vents are tan color.. i would either have to buy some in black or take the time to pull them out and individually paint each of them

yea it would be aggravating to have to do all that mess. I guess im going to go with grey interior. All I need is the camo seat coverings, the middle arm rest support, and the paint.

Im curious also to how it is holding up. My dad converted an interior color way back when and if you bumped your foot on the dash then itd chip off lol

it all still looks great like it did in the pictures

no chips at all
