How can I tell if My Truck Supports Keyless Entry?

Just wondering how I can find out if my truck supports keyless entry. The dealer told me they can't go back to 99 to find out if it had it or not.

I used to work at a dealership, and they told me that if you turn your key into the on position and back off 9-12 times(cant remeber what number) the if the doors lock and unlock you have keyless entry.

Its also how you programe the remote, after it locks and unlocks you press the lock button to sync it to truck. Hope this helps

Call Ford and give them the VIN. They'll tell you if your truck is equipped with keyless entry.

My truck is a 97' and i called the dealership and gave them the VIN to find out if my truck was equipped with keyless entry. I didn't have any problems. If you want to PM me the VIN i will find out for you. Good luck.
