Updating the whole interior.

I would like to redo the entire interior if possible. I'm not a big fan of the light grey and would like to do it in a dark black with red and black leather seats. The upholstery won't be a problem to get but I can't seem to find anywhere that has all the parts I want. It's a 2000 f250.

It can and has been done. When it comes to making the guages work I don't no if anyone has them fully fuctional. All the switch plugs are different and will require custom wiring.

Oh ok. I've heard that most of the pieces are mostly interchangeable no matter what the year. Could it be done under $8000 ?

The pieces yes, the wiring no.

Price would depend on how much you get the parts for, and how much you can do yourself. I would think $8000 would be a good budget for this undertaking.

I really have no experience beyond puting the lower dash from an 05 into my 2001 and wiring up the Upfitters. If you do a search I am sure you can turn up a couple threads discussing this topic and maybe find the couple of members that have tried it.

Guys like StrokinAlaska might be of more help too.

I need the parts first, then I'll get some pics and wiring cross references going to everyone.

No problem man. I know you deal with a lot more of this stuff than I do and figured it would be something you are interested in.

Where is your shop in Anchorage? I would love check out your rig the next time I am in town.
