'08 vs '99-'07 towing mirrors

For those of you that changed your '99-'07 tow mirrors for the '08 style, do you like them better? Specifically the function of the mirror itself and the blind spot mirror not the heat, blinker etc. I have an '01 with the wimpy paddle mirrors and am going to change them for some towing mirrors. Just don't know if it is worth the extra $160 for the '08 style(would like the mirrors themselves to be power, don't care about the other stuff). Priced from A1.

I'm in the minority. I don't like the lines of the mirrors with the older body lines - just my .02
What are y'all looking at that you have blind spots with the older style ? I've never had a problem seeing rear of me and I am not an over the shoulder looker either.

Sold 01 350 6" on 37's and mild mods, 00 X 4" on 35's, 02 f350 4" 35's modded from fan to drive shaft, ridin the 03 with nose conversion with 125k and counting upwards slowly.
Never had CNC's poo on any of it, never will.

I broke my drivers side mirror against a tree on my 01, so I had to replace it. Rockauto.com has replacement telescoping mirrors that fit perfectly for $85 NEW. The telescoping mirror makes seeing what the trailer is doing MUCH easier. Now Im thinking I just might accidentally bust the passenger side mirror next time we go offroad.....

I changed my 01 tow mirrors out with 09 tow mirrors and I would definately recommend them. I tow a trailer alot and it is totally worth it.

I really like my 08+ mirrors. While they don't look like they are much bigger the visibility was really improved.
