Instrument Cluster 1999 F350SD

I will change the cluster lights to blue LEDs.

Some "leftover" questions:

How do I get the needles "clear" instead of red?

How to remove and reinstall the needles the "right way" (e.g. calibration)

Removing the needles is best done with 2 flat objects such as butter knives and use both objects to pry up the needles gently on both bottom sides of the needle. To reinstall correctly, you will have to reinstall the gauge cluster, plastic clear cover off, of course. Put the truck in the run position with the ignition key. Once this is done you can push the needles down in their proper starting position. Getting the needles from red to clear I have never worried about that and just left them as they were. Good Luck on your project.
