Auto Headlights problem:

My headlights & dash lights have been turning off when the headlight switch is on "Auto". The lights turn off then within a second or two turn back on again. I've wiggled the switch when they turn off and that doesn't seem to make a difference. When they turn off and I switch it over to manual then everything works like it supposed to.

Of course it's intermittent. It seems to do it only when the lights are on auto and have been on for a while.

Is it probably a circuit breaker going off and coming back on? Maybe a ground issue.

mine have been like that for over a year now. i know so much about these trucks and cannot figure it out. it has to be a ground somewhere or something. my switch is good, all my lights are good. fuses and relays are all good. HAS to be a wire

Could it be the sensor going out?
