Touch Screen HU Reccomendations

Hey all... I want to put in a double DIN Head Unit (HU) but I also want to get a backup camera for hooking up trailers and just generally not backing into snow banks.

My question is, does anyone know of a touchscreen HU that will accept the feed from the backup camera so I only have one screen in the cab? I think it would look much more refined than the backup camera screen suction cupped to the window.

Any advice more than welcomed!

Gene

99-03 even use a dbl din ?

if so the Pioneers are easy and have an RCA input for the camera and you can adjust image so it's not backassward

Most double dins will accept camera input, most of the decision is made by your budget

Almost every DD headunit on the market will accept you backup cam.

Kenwood DDX470 - Kenwood DDX470 6.1" LCD DVD/MP3/USB Car Receiver w/ Bluetooth
(One of my favorites)

What's the difference between this and the high end Pioneer AVIC unit? I'm definitely not audio savvy

My dad has an Alpine INE - W940. Very nice unit. We both have Alpine and haven't had problems with them. I have a single din in my truck. The 940 has bluetooth, nav, and dvd along with the input for the backup camera. It also has an AUX input for other video devices.

They all do the same things jus a little different, I would go to an audio shop and "play" with them
I'm partial to Pioneer but the app radio is a gimmick.
The big money is in upgrading to the nav if you do that alpine is the way to go

after seeing that Parrot thread...I'm thinking of going that route. Theoretically it will be able to perform ANY current and future function since there is an app store
