I like Ford, but now you got me started.....

What about the deal with the tank and pre-pump connections. I mean, what is up with that, pre-pump connections that aren't meant for suction, c'mon, that is pretty stupid...then there's the suction to close to the return in the tank too.....and they go ahead and leave it that way year after year.

Then add in all the (International) problems:

The LL injector for the #8 fix on the 7.3 is a cob job......and all the problems with the 6.0L, that is truely sad for a lot of people who just can't afford those kind of major problems.

I wonder what they are thinkin' about sometimes, not sure you can blame it all on International either.

The speaker didn't fix it so I used the U-shaped pin release tools and pulled the factory cd/cassette combo unit out of the dash, thinking I could check the connection or the ground or something.

Upon getting it out, I hear this clanking, so I shake it and it sounds like a car wash change machine.

So, I take the covers off and pull the cassette/cd unit out of it (only 6 tiny screws) and find 28 cents worth of change in it. Kids must have put it in the cassette hole. (I bought the truck used, it wasn't my kids.)

Put it all back together and guess what - now it works great again.

So I have to wonder if your stereo made the correct change for them?
Glad ya got it fixed...
