Unhappy Door won't open

So I have done the tin foil trick for all of my door lock actuators, and they all worked fine...for a moment. About a week ago my back drivers side door decided to act up. Apparently I tightened the screw too much and it wasn't holding the gears into place so they kept slipping. I tried to fix this (which I wasn't able to) and ran into a major issue at the end of my project. I guess I didn't put the door back together right and now it won't open.

I'd like to know if there is a way to get the door open so I wouldn't have to take apart the door inside the cab. What would be the best and easiest way to get it open?

The linkage must not be hooked up, your going to have to take the door panel off to correct the problem any ways so get to it. You don't want to try to open it and break something , so take it apart

I know I'm gonna have to take it apart, but didn't really want to do it from inside the cab because it'll be a pain in the @$$.

Do I just have to push down the latch? Or what?

Honestly I can't remember. Its been two years ago when I got stuck inside my truck. Long story. Rotflmao. I think you may have to pull on one of the linkage rods that overcomes the lock and the door latch.
