2002 7.3L Fuel Gauge Not Working Properly

All of the other gauges are working fine, fuel gauge seems to work sometimes correctly, then not work after adding fuel. Ideas?

Mine is doing the same thing, all others work fine. Mine happens around 1/2 tank goes to full, then back to where it should be. I'm guessing its in the sending unit/Float in the tank. I've got some vacation scheduled for June, doing ball joints and just going to add the tank to the list.

I recommend to anyone to do the intank and prepump mods. These mods are great and only cost about $30 to do. If you have to drop the tank anyway to fix the gauge then it would be real easy to do the mods then too. Shutterfly | View Shared Pictures

Noted and added to the list, I may need to schedule more vacation the list keeps growing.
