I am currently in the same position. I'll tell you, it will be much much easier to buy aftermarket stuff.
If you want to do it with factory stuff, I would get real friendly with a local junkyard, or do what I did and by a parts truck. Everything runs through the computer.
I now have to decide if I just swap the entire harness or do all the cutting and splicing.
One option I considered, was get aftermarket stuff, and factory switches, then it would look factory when completed
