Factory Speakers

Does anybody know what size speakers are in our trucks. Front doors should all be the same. My ex cab maybe a little different in the back. Also where in the back are they? If anyone knows what sizes I have so when I go to buy new speakers, I wont get the wrong size. Also, the best/easiest way to get to them to replace them. Any tips or tricks. Thanks

Ok thx for the info, where do you get 6x8s. I know 6x9s but not familiar with the 6x8. Does anyone know in the back of an ex cab where the speakers are and the best way to access them?

I found some info that said 5x7s. It also said that the 5x7s and 6x8s are the same thing. I had just not heard of the 6x8 measurement before. Now I just need to know how to get to my back speakers, any help!!!

I swapped mine out in March with some pioneer 6x8's. The front doors took me about 20 mins total. The Rears are a bit of a pain to get to (mine is a CC). It would have been a little easier to take out the back seat. Get a Haynes Manual or a FSM and you should be set.

Yep, I replaced mine with 6X8 polk audio. I'm wanting to get a whole system for my truck, but I've gotta recover from the mods I've already done. I think I am gonna put in a Audiovox AX901 security system and remote starter. I can get one and have it installed for $260. Does anyone know anything about this model? Is it a good price?

What speakers are you going with brrs3633? I got the polks from Ebay they were a pretty good deal the seller was 12VKINGS I think.

I am not sure yet. I want something a little crisper than factory. I will probably have to put some power to them though. Not sure what set up I want though. Still looking and researching.
