leather repair

edit. i noticed i spelled leather wrong after starting the thread. sorry What kind of fixes do you guys have for something like this. i did a search and didnt really come up with much as far as fixing cuts just about reconditioning leather.




the rest of the seat is in great shape for an 01

too bad it is not the bottom..ebay has replacements..
often some upolstery shops can patch a pannel.

not sure how cost efficient it may be...
really depends on how much ya love your truck seat..
you could get it fixed, replaced ..or yank the cover off and put some kind of backing repair..I would think ..those lil holes migh present a problem.

There are leather restorations that build up the leather, don't know the cost. A guy I knew had it done on his lamborghini.

I had new leather perforated for my seats when they were redone. It looks origional.

They sell repair kits but, I used one on my recliner and it had no breathing holes to deal with and was really hard to match the color on(you mix the colors yourself),looked pretty good the first shot but when i went over it the second time forget it.I know you can order a replacement leather cover as well.I have seen them on e-bay.
