Bench to Lariat Seat Conversion

Hey all so I got some Lariat Captains chairs and center console that I am swaping into my truck to replace the cloth 40/20/40 bench. I am having a hard time figuring out where to cut the carpet to get to the mounting holes does anyone have any pictures or experience doing this?

Thanks in advance for the help!

I did this in my 04. If you go under the cab you will see where the bosses are welded to the bottom of the floor pan. Then I used a pick and pushed it through the rubber mat. I had to tap the holes to bolt the seats down.

Thats what I was told but I cant seem to find them. All I see is a hex looking hole with what apears to be a piece of rubber in there.
