? about noise

i have a 00 ext cad psd and i have a chimming noise that goes for about 15 secs almost the whole time i drive the truck. nothing on the dash pops up like door ajar or anything. anybody have a clue?

I have one as well.. comes and goes. It's like a beep chime that is a series of 5 or so beeps repeated three times. I think it's to do with the airbag??

The bulb inside the light that tells whether the passenger airbag is on or off was blown and it made that same dinging until I replaced it. Hope that helps

the series sounds like what i have, thats the pcm telling you that you have an airbag problem and the light has burnt out.
