Overhead information console removal.

My overhead console hasn't worked for some time. I read a post a while back on how to fix it by soldering the resistors back down and since mine flashes on and off on occasion, I think this is my issue. What I can't figure out is how to get the dang thing down off of the roof. I can't find any screws or tabs and I don't want to rip the thing off the ceiling or damage it.

1999 F-250 4X4 Crew cab Lariat short bed junk hauler. Truck is used for daily hauling of steel. 26000 lbs or less. No performance mods other than larger exaust. Wanted this truck since it came out in 99.

WHAT it only took me 7 years to buy it!!

Chevrolet 6.2 convert so as you can bet I am thrilled with the power of the Powerstroke!

It's just clipped in place. Get your fingers under it at the front(closest to the windshield) and pull down. It's clipped in very good so it will take some force.

Found this. I thought I needed to solder the chips back in.
