I need CB opinions!

I am in the market for a GOOD, CLEAR, POWERFULL CB. I want everyones opinion. Dollar for dollar. What are some good ones and how much do they run? But lets not stop there. Antennas are important also what are you folks running? And lets not forget about a little amplification!

Thanks

Well in my F-350 I run a uniden PC76 and love it, been peaked and tuned to modulate at 14w. I run a set of twin tuneable 4' firesticks but i only actually use 1 (better range). In my big truck I run a president hr2510 and once i figured out how to work the contraption is does good, run the same antenna set up as on my pickup. The president don't receive very well but i have hear rumors that the cousin to the hr2510 sold as a realistic by radio shack is much better on the reception side. haven't used the uppers or lowers on it since you just don't get much trafic on them, have played with the HAM side a few times and that's kinda cool when your stuck in the middle of BFE at a truck stop.

I run a Cobra 29 with twin 5' firesticks, and use both. It does just fine for me, and if I really want to get out there I have a "special box" too. (I do not recommend or condone use of linear amplifiers nor do I own one, as they are against FCC regulations. ) I have quite a few friends with CBs as well and everyone has a different opinion, be it Connex, Midland, Galaxy, ETC.

I've always run Cobra CBs and Firestick antenna's. I have the Cobra 29NW CB and it's ok. I need to get it peaked and tuned tho as it doesn't transmit worth a crap outta the box. Recieves pretty well tho with my dual 3' antenna set-up.
