Galaxy 99 as the best radio , hmmmmmmm.........sounds like someone just got out of swift school.I'd take my 29 classic peaked ,tuned with connex board(installed by a TRUE cb mechanic) over a galaxy anyday.made the mistake of getting rid of one 29 once for a 66 galaxy---what a dissapointment..sure glad some dope stole it!

My Galaxy 99 will stomp any mudduck-29 barefoot and be more clear.

I'm an occasional user,..

I have a Cobra 29LTD Harley-Davidson Edition CB....it has been peaked and tuned to modulate at 29watts....and I have a 4' Wilson tuneable fiberglass antenna on top.

My SWR's are between 1.1 -1.3... depending.....it must get a good "ground plane" off of the Safari rack I made...

I made a quickie Diamond plate mount,....

Because I ordered my truck with manual 4X4,...I don't have the ESOF switch in my dash,....so I mounted my speaker there.

4' tuned Wilson,..way up top....lololol

I have used several brands. I prefer my Galaxy 73V with my K40 mag mount over anything I've used.
