02 F250 CD changer location

The stereo in my 98 explorer with a 6-disc changer stopped working and I replaced it with a non-changer stereo. My 02 F250's stereo looks exactly like the one the explorer had, and I was wanting to move the changer to my truck. Where are the changers located in the trucks, under the seat or in a console? I have the split bench seat. I'm assuming it would be wired for a changer but can't find the plug for one. Thanks
