Will seats from an '07 SD crew fit an '02

Does any body know if the seats from a 2007 or 2008 SD crew cab fit straight into a 2002 SD crew cab and if they don't, is there a lot of modification involved?

I'll be heading to our company shop here in a few. If the shop hand's company truck ('08) is in the shop I'll measure the distances compared to my '00 and see if they will based on where they bolt in. I am assuming they will, because not a hole hell of a lot changed on the truck besides drivetrain and engine. I've read of people putting the 08 door panels in their older trucks...

Just curious if any verdict was made about a bolt in swap?

Seems from what everyone is telling me that it would be a pretty easy fit if not a straight bolt in swap. Hey, ProOnThaSnow, did you have any luck measuring the base of the seats?

I haven't had a chance to yet - last time I was there the shop hand was out in the truck. I will be heading over there in a couple hours though today (I am only occasionally in town here with my job). I'll let you know what I find out.

The only issue you may have Is the center console.
if you are going from a bench seat to the captains chairs with the center console jump seat you will need to get some additional bolts to put that through the holes , which will be hard to find without some prodding

Yea sorry forgot to mention that but the holes are there under the carpet, like you said just gotta find them. best way is to put the console in place and mark the holes or go up underneath and through
