Worn Steering Wheel
A lot superdutys I've seen have a worn or discoloring steering wheel if it hasn't been covered. I have found replacements on ebay and such but they are $250 and up. Has anybody found a cheaper way to restore theirs?

I called the local wrecker - said they've got tons of them in Black. If course my truck I need one for is a Lariat - But if it means not having a cheesedick cover on it and not enduring the hideousness of the stock wheel being torn I will give the $50 for one. He even said he'd trade me a good black airbag for my tan one so it wouldn't cost me any additional $$$. Seems easy enough to replace - plan on doing it in the next week or so as time permits.

And FWIW, that race-enterprise site says its under construction and isn't working.

Yeah I meant to mention mine is Lariat in the Med. Parchment I believe. I assume that link was to refinished or new wheels?

He started out on eBay (trucknvanman) and expanded to a website. He's still on eBay though. Sent from AutoGuide.com App |

![]() the reason his site hasn't changed is because he does the wheels on the side after work and on the weekends. SM |

Does he need your wheel first and then your down till you get it back, or can he send you a new one with a core exchange?
