interior color comparison

i have a 2000 and am thinking about doing an 05 lower dash with upfitter switches. i know that the 05+ is a lighter color of tan but does anyone have some 05+ and 00-04 tan dash pieces that they could post pics of? Autofair has all the pieces found and priced just trying to decide if the color will look right.

Sorry if Im jacking your thread but I was wondering if I could do the swap too. I was just gonna paint to match. Will the lower dash bolt right in?

Yes bolt in. Wiring is a different story. I thought about paint but wewill see. I am going to order first of the week.

Where did you order from? I cant seem to find the 05 lower dash.

going to use autofair ford(they are a vendor on here). he has been really helpful and seems to have a good price. i am not sure if your cup holders, ash tray, etc will work back. i am going to order new with the lower dash and am getting the lower dash with driver glove box.

Yeah thats exactly what I was looking for was the drivers side glove box and upfitter switches.

pm autofair on here. he has me a complete list with final shipped price. i'm just curious how well the paint will stick to the factory dash piece and how long it will last.
