Keyless entry. Doesn't work

I recently replaced the lock actuators on my truck hoping to get the keyless entry to work.
I replaced the locks and now the buttons in the truck work, but the keyless still does not.
I have had a lot of trouble finding anything on this system. I don't even know where to start. How do I determine that remote is working, or the receiver is working?

I just was looking at my new keyless lock fob. I will try to get a pic of the directions that came with it....If that would be your problem...

have you tried reprogramming your key fob? IIRC, you cycle your key on and off 8 times within 10 seconds, on the 8th time leaving the key on.. if done right, your doors will automatically lock and unlock.. then push a button on your key fob and it programs in..

also, have you checked the battery? lol..

The battery is brand new.

I only asked cause mine had similar problems a while back and I tried reprogramming and searching for about everything i could think of.. turns out i needed a new $4 battery

Hey guys now if im stupid a 99 lariat should be keyless entry right or am I just crazy to think this when I bought my new psd they said it was but no remote what do yall think.

I would think so! My 2000 lariat is. You can pick up the remotes on eBay pretty cheap, worth a shot!

Yeah I found some for like 14 dollars for two every lariat I've ever owned has been keyless entry so my assumption this one is to they just didnt have the remotes to it.

I have an e99 lariat and it does have remote keyless entry.
