Smile Hi boys!

I gotta 2001 7.3 and im havin some trouble with the door locks. The key fob and interior switches work but when they do, the lock make noise and try to move but dont change positions. I havent asked anyone else yet. Could it be the driver door lock actuator or whatever its called? Thanks for ya help!!

There is a modification that you can do yourself. It is the fuse inside the actuator that gets weak. Hope it helps.

But isnt there an actuator for each side? Its doing it to all the locks not just One side so i need to do the mod to both sides? Can you explain more sir?

Yes, there is one per door. All of mine went out at the same time. If you google it you will find alot more about it.

Ok thank you!
One more thing, my avg mpg has ALWAYS read 12.6mpg and nothing else! Never below or above. Figured it would fluctuate once in 50,000miles lol

I don't put any stock in that readout. It is never accurate compared to hand calculating.
