heated seats wiring question
Truck came with king ranch interior out of an 08, everything works fine except the heated seats were never hard wired in. The owner before me spliced both lines from the passenger and drivers seat together and from him im under the impression that all i will need to do is hook it to 12v source and im good to go.
What size fuse should i use? Looked on the 6.0 forum and they had an individual 30a fuse for driver and passenger? SHould I run separate power sources. Also id like to run them though one of the ignition fuses so they wont stay on after the truck has been shut off. Any ideas? Both seats work when i ran a jumper off the battery to the single power line. |

I would try a 30 first to both and see if it holds
if it were mine ,, worst case is it pops and you run two dedicated 30 amps a relay tied to any ignition source will turn them off

roadside emergencies has the amp rating for the 08 it appears to be less than the 06-07? and looks to be a single fuse and a relay fuse at a quick glance |
