Door lock help!

I just replaced my door lock actuators in my 2000 f250 with new ones and had zero luck with them working. But while listening to the clicking while trying to operate the locks I found that there are relays under the dash beneath the radio that were clicking. So now I'm wondering if this is my problem not the door lock actuators? I researched this and I believe it is the vehicle security module but I had no idea this existed on these trucks. Does anyone know where to buy one and what has to be done to program it? Thank you
