Ext cab rear door handles

[99 7.3 in Texas]

The plastic keepers on the tops of my cables on the drivers side have broken. I took apart the door and was able to rig it up with zip ties to make it functional for now. Not sure if its possible to just replace the cables only or what? Looks like the whole assembly is riveted in with what I feel is way overkill on the size of them rivets!!! :what:

Anywho it works for now...I was tired of only having the passenger side open. Anyone ever had this or done this? Just curious as to the best route.
