Help Please, Autometer Gauge Install

I bought an Autometer tri pod that goes over the mirror months ago along with the three basic Autometer boost, trans temp, egt. I am leaving for a long tow trip this week and decided I wanted that in and working.

The main question I have is, Can you install an Autometer trans temp gauge in this overhead pod? The sender length looks too short... If it does fit can you recommend a route that makes it fit and to what location on the trans did you connect the probe?

Thanks in advance!

If it's just the basic sender in the trans where the ground is the trans and only has one wire coming out of it, just get a longer wire.

So I just called and talked with the sales person. I just ordered and electric gauge over night since I had a mechanical. So now I just have to get in and I should be all set. I just have to look back and find where it goes into the transmission.

Thanks
