Rear DVD not turning on
Hi all,
Ok it was working when I bought the truck about 3 weeks ago. I replaced the radio with a Pioneer AVH-P8400BH. I know that the Green/Solid black is the power but when I connect that to the ACC cable nothing happens. I've grounded it and connected the power and nothing. Can it be a fuse? I can't imagine it, if the radio is working. What else can it be? CI |

did u verify power on reverse ?
did u set the Pioneer to display the revers camera ? |

Try running it on a jumper wire to straight power to see if It's working correctly without the headunit then if so u got headunit issues

As far as the reverse camera, yes I did set the unit for the reverse camera but I don't understand how this affects the DVD.
Bouchard, what source can I tap into. I'm far from a mechanic and learning as I go. |

ZMANN I wired it directly to the red 12v for the radio. The radio turns on but nothing on the monitor.

So let me get some info u had a DVD capable headunit and then switched to a new DVD capable headunit. And when u put in a DVD it only plays threw the headunit or nothing at all? And does these rear moniters run power of the headunit or have a separate power source? and just gets video feed from the headunit. If u don't know snap some pictures of some wiring so we can try and see anything that would point us in the right direction.
