Keep blowing fuse#27

Drove to Vegas yesterday... Headache. Blew rear pinion seal...steering box decided to really show its dead spot... And then...
While in Bakersfield getting the pinion seal replaced, the blinkers stopped working and the overhead trip computer screen went dark.

Found fuse 27 blown. Replaced it with another 15 amp... Everything was fine.

Fuse blew again about 50 miles later. It was about 92 degrees out.

I am stuck in Vegas with out any real tools for diagnosis. Anyone have this problem before?

Anyone know what else fuse 27 controls so I can try to look into this?

Thanks!

Weird. Now that it is not 100 degrees out, the fuse has stopped blowing... Anyone have any idea what's going on?

Nope, still blowing. It seems to happen when I turn the max a/c on or off etc...
Weird thing is, when the fuse blows, I can still change my a/c and heater controls.

Going to try changing the vacuum pump and see if it helps. Heard it can draw a spike and blow the fuse when its going out.

Replaced the vacuum pump and it seems to have fixed the problem. Fingers crossed!
