2000 F550 cd player
Does anyone know what other factory units are a direct fit for this truck? It currently has just an AM/FM radio and I would like to have a CD player. Dont really need the 6 disc. There are a lot of Factory units available fairly cheap and factory radios seem to work pretty well for a long time. Any ideas? What about a 2001 Expedition, would that radio work??
Thanks in advance, Jason |

I would honestly suggest spending a little extra and getting a good aftermarket head unit.. the sound quality is a huge difference..
It would give you a cd player AM/FM plus the option of an AUX input (I use mine with pandora on my phone all the time..) If you really appreciate music, you'd thank yourself for it.. lol Sent from my DROIDX using AutoGuide.Com Free App |

Little late, I had a CD/Tape unit from a 2004 f250 given to me yesterday. It fell right in and works fine. Honestly I was just wanting a CD player, sound quality from a 2 speaker stereo isn't going to get that much better to me. That being said, this one does sound a lot better than the old one tho, and the cd player works well.. I like factory units, they just seem to fit and function well.. Thanks for the idea tho!
