Power Accessories Problems

Ok, ive been doing trouble shooting and searching but i cant figure this out, i went to the dealership and talked to them and they told me that it may be the GEM and the part that attaches to that, i cant remember the name of it. But here goes. Locks - they dont work but when i hit the unlock or lock switch the locks barley move, but then after i do it a couple times it doesnt work. Windows - The drivers side never works, the front passenger does sometimes, but whenever i open the drivers door and i hit the window switch the interior lights go out and none of the windows respond no matter which door i try to use and the locks do nothing at all. Wipers- the other day they wouldnt work at all but now they have started working again, not sure if this is related.

I checked all the fuses and relays everything is in working order, the GEM looks like its in good condition, no water runing down onto it or anything. It seems like a short or a loose ground but i dont know where to look i have been checking everywhere i can think of but i am finally at a loss. Any help you can offer is greatly appreciated.
