Taking the green film of the dash face(removing the needles)

Been reading on here for a while finally made an account!

I have an extra dash I got I'm practicing how to take it apart. I want to take the green film off the face so the lights shine through white. How do I take off the needles properly so they are ok when put back in the truck? I need the needles off in order to take the face off.

a fork. you may have to cut off one of the 4 things but that is the way to do it
