06 interior to 99 conversion
I just got done for the most part but thought i would show before and afters...everything for the front bolt wise matches up. remember you need the complete seat belts from the year your keeping. 99 does not plug into 06..
back seat difference is the front bolt holes...there are 4 bolt holes in the front and two in the back...the 99 has two front and two back....so i will have to figure out what i am going to do with the front two...probably tap and die it but have not got to that point |

Looks good. And there's nothing to tap into to thread a bolt. The others are threaded inserts in the sheet metal.

I just started trying to figure out how to do the same rear seat install with a rear seat out of a 2004 (fold up and down with metal pan).
My 2002 also has the four bolt pattern for the rear seat. The 2004 has three front and 3 rear bolt down brackets. The outer brackets look as if the will line right up. What did you do for the inside brackets? I read on another forum that said the holes where there, they just needed to be punched out. Why would Ford have had this much forethought? |
