Trying to put 2007 dash in my 2000

I dyed everything and have all the necessary parts to do it the only thing is my headlamp switch is has a different plug than the new style one. can someone please point me in the right direction as to where i could either get an adapter or what can be done to make this work. im lost and frustrated. PLEASE AND THANKYOU

I did that conversion on my old truck, if I remember correctly the wiring colors were the same just found a switch out of a donor truck and cut the pigtail and soldered it

I don't remember of my headlight switch being different. My truck didn't have auto lights.

I swapped the switch in my 00 to a later model switch. I think it may be the same as the newer ones.
