Fan running and clicking sound

The other night i got to work and turned off my truck had a weird ticking sound I figured it was the fan since it had the sound of something slowing. This morning I got back from town and turned off my truck, and removed the key. The fan was still running i turned the speed switch up to make sure I wasnt hearing things and it sped up, I also had a clicking sound in the dash as well that almost had the same sound as what the turn signal makes that would periodicly make noise. I restarted the truck and shut it down still did the same thing as before with the key in and removed, did it a 3rd time the fan turned off but still had the clicking sound. Any ideas guys?
